A saga of ongoing improvement...

Atma-Sphere Music Systems has continued to evolve and develop its line of amps. Several improvements have been incorporated into the M60 Mk II since the time of our review in Positive Feedback. Power supply improvements incorporate multi-stage pi-section filtering, the voltage gain section sports an improved constant current source topology, and the output stage now incorporates current sharing topology to improve the balance of load driving between the individual output tubes. Power is up about 10 percent and distortion is down by almost an order of magnitude. Not bad, huh? Hats off to Ralph Karsten for improving this beautiful technical gift to music lovers.
